I’m thinking of a different twist on dailies. Music is a part of my podcast. I use my cousin’s music. I play bari sax. I want to use my own playing. I could start with recording myself for 60 sec regularly and work out the equipment and sound kinks
OK folks I’m jumping right in. My first 60-sec installment explains what I’m after. I recorded with a Zoom H6 with a lavalier mic.
My second installment is my first musical work in this 60-sec series. I recorded with a Zoom H6 one channel with a sax mic, the second connected to my iPhone with a backing track using the Amazing Slow Downer app. The music is from the Latin Solo Workout, Mambo 1, first 8 bars over and over for 60-sec. If you care, I play a Yanigasawa Baritone Sax.
Thanks for this
OK. Here’s day 2 of my musical PodComm Journal. First playing a backing track with another Mambo rhythm and a bit of soloing
plus a bonus of El Quitrin melody and brief solo
