I am trying to understand the work bench. I found the calandar but I don’t understand how we know what the topics are…or are we supposed to bring our own topics?
On the one hand, I thought we could listen and be interactive and know what the topic was,(I don’t see where to find this information ) and on the other hand, we can schedule a workbench but not sure …thanks. I hope i’m not the only one who is not clear
If you have something you want to throw on the workbench, then you start a topic in Workbench and some discussion ensues. When (if) you want, you can then go into the special calendar for scheduling a Workbench session. That will get you into my calendar to be sure at least I can show up to the session.
Everyone else is of course welcome to attend the workbench session.
There simply aren’t any workbench session scheduled at the moment.
@brucedevereux most recently started a discussion in Workbench , but he’s not scheduled a session.
…and other may also be confused. But I cannot read their minds.
I’ll put some time into improving the about-topic in the Workbench category
I wasn’t clear how “others” get on zoom call but it looks like we don’t, its the person with the topic and you, then you post the recording to generously share with us. Did I get that right?
You decide when the Zoom call happens (by scheduling it)… all the other supporting members are then welcome to join us, if they can.
The goal is to have lots of the other supporting members join on the call so we can all work together. (By using Calendly, I can be sure that at least I can be there to work with you.)
After the Zoom session, the recording is added to your workbench topic. Everyone (public, search engines, visitors) can then see what we did/figured-out.
forgive me if I am being annoyed and missing a post where you already answered this: How do we know or get notified specifically that a call has been scheduled that we can join in on? @craigconstantine
