Dismissing backlogged notifications

Maybe a very simple question with an obvious answer…

If I dismiss a reminder, but it was bookmarked, is the bookmark deleted? I have many notifications (new posts, etc.) that are backlogged, and I can “visually batch” clusters of contiguous items, so it would be great if they can be selected and deleted in small groups vs. one at a time.

Is there an efficient way to do this?

I like to at least skim each post/notification before deleting/dismissing and I don’t want to use the Dismiss All option (because of the bookmark question mentioned above).

There’s no way to do exactly what you’re describing.

But you can get a little more organization into your review. Click this…

Takes you this screen, where you can click the “tabs” to see “Responses” “Likes” “Mentions” etc. in one go, so at least you can skim all the ones of one type
