Does anyone send mics to their guests to improve podcast sound quality? I use and like the Samson Q2U mic and I am thinking about sending the Samson Podcasting pack to next week’s guest at a $69.99 cost as an experiment. Am I crazy? Thoughts?

As we discussed on FL, the MPOW is no longer reliable. Several of us are using the Sennheiser PC8 now, which seems to work well.
Doesn’t explain why MPOW became unreliable but interesting article nonetheless:
I used to send a headset to guests. However, I find now that most have a good setup with mic/earbuds and the sound quality is not that much improved by spending the extra money. I’ve only had a few technical issues and we were able to resolve those.
I used to send the MPOW before it became unreliable. Then I switched over to Plantronics.
