It’s an archived webinar from Captivate.fm featuring Gordon Firemark. It’s about 70 minutes long but you can considering scrubbing to the 12:00 mark or so to really get started, and can stop a bit early unless you want to follow through with the services available from the presenter.
I was able to accelerate the playback speed for most of the playback, cutting viewing time considerably.
After podcasting for almost five years now (time flies!) I found a few points to be quite informative, because I am thinking ahead to the time when my podcast might not be associated as directly with the organization with which I work. There are some good insights around:
- copyrighting and trademarks around the 25:30 mark,
- contract (language) at 36:00 (give or take - all of these timestamp markers are approximate), and
- a few more legal-wording-related details just a few minutes later (39:00 or so).
There is also a brief, single screen summary (45:00?) regarding the issues (and distilled solutions) addressed up to that point.
