I can definitely recommend he book/graphic novel - I learned a heap. The author shares so much of her process and those of the people she worked with like Ira Glass.

I was struck about how they always manually typed out transcripts of ALL their raw recordings to use as the basis of shaping their episodes and deciding what stays in. We are talking about hours of tape. I’ll never complain about Descript again!
