I know Susanne through the Podcast Group in Forward Link, so I really enjoyed listening to this. It was a great episode. I do Ironman myself and recently wrote a story about my climb of Kilimanjaro, so those and many other aspects of the interview really resonated. She is such a lovely person and so helpful. She is from Thun, which is the town where my next Ironman is based in Switzerland (in 6 weeks) and she has given me such a lot of information about the place, the likely profile of the bike course, the water conditions in the lake, places to visit if I have time.
It will make this one really special and I guess I will probably imagine her looking on, when I get to the low places that one always gets to in a race like that.
