# Uploading a podcast to Spotify

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is way to upload a podcast directly and ONLY to Spotify? Is there a way to have your podcast online for free or you must choose a distributor and pay a monthly fee?

I am about to help a person to create a podcast and the audience is only Lithuanians, therefore I was thinking what would be the best strategy for uploading it.

I’d appreciate some info 🙂 Thanks for your help!

Spotify is also a podcasting host. It’s actually a bit of effort to put your podcast on some platforms (Apple, iHeart) but I don’t know if platforms scrub Spotify and redistribute.

I’ll be moving over there soon because Spotify (Formerly Anchor) wants to monitize even the smallest podcast. I haven’t gotten to the part where they charge yet. I’ll know by next Monday.
